2022 Jordan Delta 2 “University Blue” Released

Following two summer-ready “Cerulian” and “White” colorways, Jordan Brand is building a new Jordan Delta 2 using the iconic “University Blue” hue. Despite the modest popularity, the silhouette still garners some love with its unique retro-futuristic aesthetic made with a variety of heavily textured uppers.

While the shoe has received a number of colorways in the past, such as the previous ‘Grape’ and ‘Infinite Lilac’, this latest edition comes crafted in the beloved baby blue hue that was last seen on the Air Jordan 11 and Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 “First Use”. On a white mesh base embroidered with Jumpman branding elements, a mix of suede leather overlays in “University Blue” shapes the shoe from the toe cap, eyelets and heel with an ice blue TPU mold supporting the side. A port gray hue equips the flat laces on a nylon tongue with additional cavities for a secure fit. The React-equipped sockliner, heel tab, and midsole are done in the same hue atop a textured White outsole.

In the meantime, take a look at the official images above with more details of the Jordan Delta 2 “University Blue” coming soon.

Elsewhere in footwear, Reebok and Warner Bros. tapped into 90s nostalgia for a playful Looney Tunes collection.
