The Pace Galleries of Art presents the “Robert Jordan: Valley Landscapes in Light and Shadow” exhibition opening reception from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at Fryeburg Academy’s Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center. Light appetizers and refreshments will be provided by the Fryeburg Kitchen and Marketplace restaurant. Free entry.

A quiet but important voice in the tradition of the American Masters, Jordan brought his own interpretation of the American landscape to life through his famous paintings, drawings and prints. Her love of New England, the White Mountains and the countryside surrounding her home in South Conway, New Hampshire, forms the majority of her work.

After the vernissage, the exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. when the Fryeburg Academy is in session and at other times by appointment. Please email [email protected], or call 207-544-9066 to schedule a visit at another time. The LHE/PAC is located on the Fryeburg Academy campus at 18 Bradley St., Fryeburg.
