The Louis Vuitton Legacy Air Jordan 1 Shoe Surgeon

Virgil Abloh, through his work at both Off-White and Louis Vuitton, left an indelible mark on the fashion world. And while some may still criticize the designer’s creations and methods, no one can deny that he shed his blood, sweat and tears to make each collection a success.

To pay homage to Abloh’s heritage, The Shoe Surgeon presents the Legacy AJ1s, a two-piece collection inspired by the Damier and Monogram Louis Vuitton x Air Force 1.

The capsule’s Air Jordan 1 High is a much closer replica of the original colorway. Constructed from authentic LV bags, the silhouette features the signature monogram-patterned leather across its entire profile, displaying both the usual logos and a sleek brown finish. This is then paired with the lighter Damier canvas, which equips the toe, collar and Swoosh.

The Air Jordan 1 Low offers identical quality, although the colorway itself reverses that of the AJ1 High. The Damier canvas takes up more of the scene, while its darker counterpart is relegated to the toe, heel, and Swoosh.

For a more in-depth review of the two Legacy AJ1s, see below. Currently, both pairs are available in limited sizes via thesurgeon.comwith the top sitting at a retail price of $10,000 and the bottom at a cheaper $7,500.
